hetras is an innovative, powerful yet cost-effective web-based Hotel Management Software with an integrated online booking system. What is a web-based solution?
Web-based means that the product runs on the Internet and all you need to use it is any computer with a browser (e.g. Internet explorer, Firefox etc.). This means there are no servers, databases or complex applications to manage in your hotel and no other licenses to buy. This saves you money, time and headaches. Also, you never have to install an update. We do it for you automatically.
How long does it take to start using hetras?
hetras has been designed for easy set-up and operation. Six simple steps will take you from now to a fully operational system. And the whole process will take just a matter of weeks for a single hotel.
What happens when the Internet connection is down?
You can continue to run your hotel even when you lose your internet connection. We have built a special offline mode which ensures that you can continue to perform the critical functions even when the internet connection is down. Furthermore, hetras runs on handheld devices with browsers such as the iPhone, meaning that you can work via the cellular network.
Support is a big issue for me – how does hetras provide support?
We built hetras to meet the highest reliability standards and ease of use. But we know that if something doesn´t work the way you expect, there is only one aspects that really counts: fast and competent problem resolution. So if you or your staff faces difficulties using hetras, a competent support engineer is ready to help – 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. Our support personnel can even share your screen remotely to help pinpoint the problem and solution.
I saw systems that are a lot cheaper than hetras – why shouldn't I use them?

How frequently do I need to buy a system-update for hetras?
You will never need to buy an update. We sell hetras on a Software as a Service (SaaS) basis. That means you pay a flat rate every month which includes support and updates.
If I don´t like hetras – how long do I have to stay with you?
Price is an important aspect – but equally important (and often forgotten) is the cancellation policy. Most vendors make you pay a hefty up-front fee and then lock you into a multi-year support or upgrade package. Such contracts benefit the vendor, but not the hotel. At hetras we follow a simple philosophy – if you like our system and it helps you to achieve your goals, you will stay with hetras. If you are for any reason dissatisfied, you will change or cancel – at a single month's notice. We want to keep you as our customer so we will strive month after month to keep you happy. How much does hetras cost?
hetras charges you a flat rate per room per month. This means a small price for a small hotel. hetras does not charge transaction fees, commissions, up-front installation fees or upgrade fees. Professional services such as training, configuration, data migration and 3D modeling - if required - are charged at an hourly or project rate.
Is a web–based solution fast enough?
We built hetras using advanced technologies to ensure that the performance may even be faster than what you have experienced in non web-based systems. But don’t take our word for it. Ask your account manager for a live demonstration and see for yourself.
Is my data safe?
Your data is in the hetras data center. This high-performance redundant disaster-proof data center is located directly on the internet backbone and fulfills the highest possible up-time and security standards, meaning that your data is likely more secure at hetras than on your own premises. It's our job to upgrade the hardware and software when necessary, update the firewall and virus protection in real time and keep the backups running.
What are my computer and server requirements to run hetras?
hetras Hotel Management Software runs on any computer with an internet connection and supports the following browsers: Mozilla Firefox 3.0+ and Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7.0+. hetras recommends a DSL, Cable or faster internet connection. The public-facing booking engine runs on older browsers as well.
What is the automated correspondence feature?
As soon as a reservation is made – either by the guest directly or by your hotel personnel - hetras can automatically send out an email confirming the details of the booking, naturally in your own design. This is just one example of how hetras makes your job easier AND provides better guest service.
